So I “made” my husband go to see this Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd movie. I thought it was a pretty good movie; however my husband said it was a “decent” movie. It was a typical romantic comedy. There is not real surprise as to who Reese’s character ends up with at the end of the movie. Witherspoon and Rudd’s characters have found themselves dealing with two separate life changing issues. Both situations could really force a person into depression and total withdraw from the worlds around them. They find comfort in talking and being each other that making dealing with these issues much more manageable. Owen’s character is a typical Owen Wilson charter. You love this goofy, fun loving personality throughout the entire movie. You even like him when he is being a stereotypical jerk.
The only negative that I really have is that the movie was a little longer then it needed to be. It was almost a full two hours (with theater previews) and it could have been closer to the hour and half time frame.
This is more of a chick flick, as expected. It does have comical moments (some sexual humor) that will keep men interested. If you like movies like How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Along Came Polly, or Four Christmas then you will like this movie too. It is not quit as geared to keeping the men entertained as The Break-up or Losing Sarah Marshall.

Food, Inc. Documentary
WOW, that is how I describe this documentary. I went into this movie with no real expectations. I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian but this movie really made me think. It is a real shame to see how the animals are treated on large farms that product the majority of the meat we (as Americans) consume. Not to mention the fact that many of them are likely to get diseases (that are passed on to us in their meat) just do to their surroundings. It made me think more about buying organic and from local farmers.
If you don't want to see the sad, curl truth about how the animals are treated and killed this movie is not for you. If you want some inside truth as to where your food comes from watch this movie. I am not going to lie and tell you that now I buy all organic and only at farmers markets now but it will make me make an effort to do it more often.
This documentary was a real eye opener and very informative. I would recommend this one for sure.

The Box (2009)
With Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, Frank Langella
Basically this movie is about a husband and wife that are presented with a BOX. This box contains a button that if pushed, will kill someone they do not know and in return they will get 1 million dollars. If they choose to not push the button then nothing happens and the box is returned. There are a few catches to actually pushing button but I don't want to ruin the movie if you choose to see it.
It pains me to say this, because I am huge Cameron Diaz fan, but this movie was not worth watching. It was weird and the way they tried to tie everything together was confusing. Cameron Diaz's character had a southern accent but it was one of the worst accents ever. It would come and go as she spoke and to make it worst there was no need for the accent. No one else in the film had one. It only added to my dislike of the movie.
They story line could have made for a god movie but this was not it. This was one we rented and I am glad we did not pay theater ticket prices to see it. In my opinion, it was Cameron Diaz's worst movie. I would not recommend that you watch this movie unless you are all out of other movies to watch and just wanted to kill some time.
